(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that proceedings before this Court are rendered infructuous as the petitioner has already caused appearance in compliance of order dated 31.05.2023, passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the aforesaid, no purpose would be served to continue with the proceedings since the very purpose of initiating proceedings under Section 82 Cr.P.C. is to ensure presence of petitioner in the trial and petitioner has already surrendered himself. Present proceedings are thus rendered otiose. Disposed of accordingly.

Since the main case is disposed of, service of respondent No.2 is dispensed with, at this stage.
