RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Article 21 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of appropriate directions to learned trial Court for speedy trial in case FIR No.129, dated 08.11.2016, under Sections 406/498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur. Issue notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.M.S.Nagra, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that out of 22 witnesses, 5 are examined and the next date of hearing is 03.08.2021.
