(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of F.I.R No. 80 dated 11.12.2015 under Sections 406/498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Women Cell, District Jalandhar.
This Court had relegated the parties to Mediation Centre for an amicable settlement and learned counsel for the parties stated that the the parties are in the process of settling the dispute and need some more time to draft the conditions of the compromise.
In view of the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, order dated 14.03.2016 passed by this Court whereby the ad-interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh bail bonds after presentation of the challan.
