**** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.243 dated 23.12.2011, under Sections 323, 406 and 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Pinjore, District Panchkula on the basis of compromise dated 09.05.2014 (Annexure P-2) and in view of the order dated 29.10.2015 passed in connected petition bearing CRM-M19239-2014. After perusing the file of connected petition and affidavit of complainant-Amita Sharma it transpires that the complainant had compromised the matter with her husband Nitin Sharma and mother-in-law Krishna Sharma and she has no objection, if the FIR was quashed. Further, she also suffered a statement to the effect that she has compromised the matter with the accused persons. Petitioner in the present petition is sister-in-law of the complainant (respondent No.2) and the role attributed to her was similar to her mother Krishan Sharma. Since the complainant personally appeared before this Court and made a statement that she has no objection if the proceedings against the accused persons is quashed, therefore, no useful purpose would be served in prolonging the litigation. Accordingly, FIR No.243 dated 23.12.2011, under Sections 323, 406 and 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Pinjore, District Panchkula and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed qua petitioner as well.

The present petition stands disposed of.
