CRWP-5814-2022 The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner at the instance of respondents No.4 to 10 as the petitioner is said to be residing with one Lakhwinder Singh with her own free will.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per his instructions initially the private respondents had informed the investigating SUKHPREET KAUR 2022.09.15 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-5814-2022 (O & M) agency that they had no objection if the petitioner continues to reside with Lakhwinder Singh. However, once again, they have started threatening the petitioner and the said Lakhwinder Singh.
The learned counsel for the respondents while denying the abovesaid contention, however, once against assures the Court that the private respondents No.4 to 10 shall not cause any hindrance in the life of the petitioner.
In view of the respective contentions of the parties, the respondent No.3 is directed to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner and Lakhwinder Singh.
Disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
