RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.62 dated 31.08.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 323, 341, 382 and 506 IPC registered at Police Station City-II Malerkotla, District Sangrur, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). Pursuant to the order dated 16.02.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the Illaqa Magistrate on 16.03.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.493/I dated 21.03.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur vide Endst. No.1828/EB dated 23.03.2017.
According to the report, the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate is satisfied that compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, voluntary, and without any pressure or coercion. Considering the report of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Ravinder Singh 2017.10.12 13:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document dated 21.03.2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony in
-2CRM-M-5127 of 2017 relations between the parties, FIR No.62 dated 31.08.2016 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 323, 341, 382 and 506 IPC registered at Police Station CityII Malerkotla, District Sangrur, is hereby quashed. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
