(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 to conclude the investigation in the criminal case arising out of the FIR bearing No.0399 dated 23.06.2021 registered at Police Station Assandh, Karnal, under Section 3(2) (va) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Sections 323, 506 IPC in a time-bound manner and to submit the final report in respect thereof and he also prays for directing these official respondents to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of the accused persons named in the subject FIR.

Mr. S.S. Pannu, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, has joined the proceedings on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 in this case, in pursuance of the copies of this petition having been sent to the NEETU RANI 2021.07.30 15:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC

respondent-State in advance. He apprises the Court that as per the instructions received from SI Gajender Singh of Police Station Assandh, the cancellation report qua the above-said FIR has already been prepared and the same would be presented before the competent Court in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

In view of the above-said submission of learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition while submitting that in the afore-discussed scenario, the petitioner would be availing the alternative efficacious remedy, as may be permissible to him under law, to seek the redressal of his grievance, as set-forth in this petition.

Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Resultantly, the petition in hand stands dismissed for having been withdrawn accordingly.
