For the sake of brevity, the facts are not reproduced here again.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner along with the co-accused was arrested in similar circumstances and the petitioner is not involved in any other case and as on today, he has undergone about 61⁄2 months custody. He further submits that it may take

-3some time in conclusion of the trial as the charges are yet to be framed. Learned State counsel has filed custody certificate and has not disputed the factual position.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, without commenting upon the merits of the case, and considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate/ Illaqa Magistrate concerned.
