The prayer in the present criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of a roving writ especially in the nature of habeas corpus and for the appointment of Warrant Officer to trace the detenues, namely Ravi Gupta S/o Girja Shankar Gupta, and Neha Gupta D/o Ajit Kumar Singh. 2.

The report of the Warrant Officer has been received. A perusal of the same would reveal that detenue-Ravi Gupta had already reached home and there is no need to search for him. As regards detenueNeha Gupta, she was found in District Saran, Bihar. Her statement has been recorded to the effect that she was unmarried and had gone to the village along with their parents without any pressure and was going to perform her marriage on 21.04.2026 with her own will and without any pressure of her parents.
