(ORAL) This petition is filed by the petitioner, who had already been granted parole from 20.05.2022 upto 14.06.2022 vide order dt.20.05.2022 under Section 3(1)(a) of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988, seeking extension of such parole by 3 weeks to enable him to provide treatment to his mother, who is unwell and is admitted in Suvidha Multispeciality Hospital, Hisar.

Writ Petition itself has been filed on 14.06.2022, but for some reason it could not be taken up on that day, it was adjourned to 15.06.2022, and on that date as the State Counsel did not have its file, it was adjourned for today. Notice of motion.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Karan Sharma, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State. He contends that the petitioner should have filed a fresh petition for parole. CRWP-5811-2022 -2beyond the control of the petitioner, and since the petitioner is only seeking three more weeks parole to attend on his mother, who is a senior citizen and suffering from various ailments and is admitted in Suvidha Multispeciality Hospital, Hisar, this petition is allowed; petitioner is directed to be released on parole from 18.06.2022 to 11.07.2022 subject to heavy surety to the satisfaction of the concerned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate. The petitioner is directed to surrender on 11.07.2022 at 04:00 PM before the Central Jail, Ambala.
