SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 and 5.

Additional affidavit of petitioner no. 2-Amit produced by learned counsel of petitioners is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 14.02.2017 (Annexure P-4) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Palwinder Kaur is 09.04.1990 as per copy of Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Amit is 13.09.1990 as per copy of PAN Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 14.02.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3. In view of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2Jitender Kumar 2017.02.16 16:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-5270-2017 -2Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to look into the representation dated 14.02.2017 (Annexure P-4) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office.
