**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (Oral) Seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondent no.4 and his gang members, the petitioner had come up before this Court by filing the present petition. Learned State counsel submits that now, one armed police official has been deputed with the petitioner and it shall be ensured that his life and liberty is secured.

Given above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents to ensure the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner, if there is any threat to the life of the petitioner. This order shall remain in force for one week after recording of is statement. In case the petitioner is still aggrieved, he shall be at liberty to file any other appropriate petition if he is so advised in accordance with law.
