Petitioners in person with Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Advocate for Mr. P.L. Singla, Advocate SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 9, parents and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law to provide protection to the lives and liberty of the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Pardeep Kaur is 12.04.1992 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Parminder Singh is 22.02.1992 as per copy of Birth Certificate (Annexure P-4). They got married on 08.02.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-7.

In view of the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2Sachin Mehta 2017.02.17 18:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
