NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.98 dated 08.07.2019, under Sections 498-A, 494, 323, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has been compromised.

Issue notice of motion.

Mr.Rana Harjasdeep Singh, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State and Mr.Manipal S.Yadav, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to join the investigation and on his doing so, he be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
