Ms. Sharmila Sharma, Advocate for respondent No. 4. *** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. As per report received from the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cumSecretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rohtak, on account of non appearance of the present petitioner before the mediator, mediation proceedings could not start even though respondent No. 4 husband Yashveer Dahiya had attended such proceedings. In that way, mediation remained unsuccessful. Written reply has been filed on behalf of respondent No. 4 controverting the assertions in the petition and giving the details of the criminal cases got registered against the petitioner. By way of filing the present petition, petitioner Priti seeks issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect her life at the hands of her husband respondent No. 4 Yashveer Dahiya and his family members respondents No. 5 to 10 on any false criminal complaint lodged by PARVINDER SINGH 2020.12.01 15:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Since the petitioner is said to be involved in two criminal cases, without going into merits of the allegations therein, it is observed that the investigating agency can certainly proceed against her with regard to such cases and there is no question of granting blanket bail to her by way of issuing prior notice as prayed for by her in the present petition. She may take recourse to the other remedy available to her under law for the purpose of joining investigation in those cases or otherwise. She is said to have approached the Superintendent of Police, Rohtak by way of submitting representation dated 5.8.2020 (Annexure P4). The Superintendent of Police, District Rohtak may look into such representation and if he finds that some action in the matter is warranted then the needful may be done in accordance with law.
