The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.215 dated 02.04.2021, under Sections 323, 354, 506 IPC, registered at Police Station Ballabgarh, City, District Faridabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the FIR in question is a counter blast to the complaint made by the petitioner on 30.03.2021 against seven women including the wife of the complainant herein, who had attacked him with bricks and stones. He further submits that soon thereafter, the complainant had approached the police helpline at 100 but in vain. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that pursuant to order dated 02.09.2021, passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has also co-operated with the investigating agency. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sanjeev, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation. Learned State counsel has further apprised this Court that the petitioner is no longer required for further investigation, much less for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 02.09.2021 is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
