In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for release of arrears of petitioner's salary keeping in view his last drawn pay as his salary and other service conditions have been revised w.e.f. 01.11.2022. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 07.03.2024 (Annexure P-8) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 3.
Mr. Puru Jarewal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1 and does not oppose the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
