Main case The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.PC seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.03 dated 08.03.2022 under Sections 420 and 120-B of the IPC, registered at Police Station Women, 5-A, Jagraon, District Ludhiana Rural.

In pursuance to the order dated 23.08.2022 the matter was sent to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for amicable settlement. Report dated 13.03.2023 of the Mediator has been received wherein it has been stated that the matter has been settled between the parties. Vide order dated 21.06.2022 while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. CRM-M-27056-2022 (O&M) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 21.06.2022, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such her interim bail may be made absolute. The learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surjit Singh has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and her further investigation in the present case is not required.

In view of the above, interim order dated 21.06.2022 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The present petition stands disposed off.
