(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that while releasing the pensionary benefits of the petitioner, certain amounts for the missing parts and oil deductions have been made to be recovered and the total amount deducted is `1,76,615/-. Further, the claim of the petitioner is that his work charge service from 01.11.1979 to 10.11.1989 has also not been taken into consideration as a qualifying service ignoring the settled principle of law. Counsel for the petitioner argues that the said deductions have been made without affording any opportunity of hearing or even issuing a show cause notice to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice dated 20.03.2019 (Annexure P-4), which NARESH KUMAR 2019.05.29 09:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
