Following order was passed by this Court on 23.04.2026:- "Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for setting-aside the speaking order dated 30.01.2026 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No.3. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondent No.3 to forthwith issue Last Pay Certificate to the petitioner in order to release his salary and consequential service benefits and also direct the respondents to pay interest @ 18% per annum on the arrears of past months and further direct respondent No.5 to release at least 03 months salary as interim relief, during the pendency of writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner was serving as Municipal Engineer in Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri and was transferred vide order dated 08.07.2025. He was relieved on 14.07.2025 and thereafter, joined as SDE at Municipal Council, Kalka. Despite his lawful relieving and

In compliance thereof, learned State counsel has produced in Court the affidavit of Mr. Mukul Kumar, Director Urban Local Bodies, Haryana i.e., respondent No.2, a copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for petitioner and the same is taken on record subject to just exceptions. Registry is directed to place the same at an appropriate place.

Learned State counsel further refers to order dated 20.05.2026 (Annexure R-1) and submits that the Last Pay Certificate would be issued to the petitioner within one week.

Learned counsel for petitioner is satisfied with the stand taken on behalf of the respondents and submits that the present writ petition is rendered infructuous and may be disposed of accordingly. 5.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar to act upon the order passed by respondent No.2 on 20.05.2026 (Annexure R-1) and release the Last Pay Certificate in favour of the petitioner. approach this court under Article 215 of the Constitution of India for initiating contempt proceedings.
