The present petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for quashing of FIR No.086 dated 03.07.2022 registered under Sections 341, 506, 323, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Diyalpura, District Bathinda, and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Vide order dated 26.05.2023, the parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their statements recorded; as to the genuineness of the compromise. In compliance thereof, report of the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Phul, dated 17.07.2023, has been received, wherein, it has been submitted that the parties have not appeared VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2023.08.02 11:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
