Instant petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners and to restrain private respondents No.4 and 5 from harassing or interfering in the peaceful live-in relationship of the petitioners.

On 20.04.2026, following order was recorded:- "1.

Present petition has been filed by the petitioners, seeking issuance of direction to the official respondents, to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents. 2.

Admittedly, petitioner No.1 is primarily a resident of village Binnakheri, Police Station and Post Officer Sarsawa, District Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh), and petitioner No.2 is a resident of Yamuna Nagar (Haryana).

List again on 30.04.2026.

4.

Let credentials of both the petitioners and private respondents be verified by the State, and thereafter, status report be filed, on or before the next date of hearing."

Today, at the very outset, learned State counsel informs that JAWALA RAM 2026.05.15 17:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP-4547-2026 - 2 - one case, i.e. FIR No.120, dated 17.04.2026, under Section 87 of BNS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 366 IPC), registered at Police Station Sarsawa, District Saharanpur (U.P.), already stands registered against petitioner No.2 in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

Moreover, petitioner No.1 being a minor, cannot be permitted to stay together with petitioner No.2, as her custody has been taken away from her lawful guardian(s).

In view of above, no ground is made out to entertain the instant petition. Hence, same stands dismissed.
