RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, his family members, independent prosecution witnesses and transfer investigation in case FIR No.232 dated 10.11.2017 registered under Sections 326, 324, 323, 341, 506, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Dharmkot, District Moga from local investigating agency to some senior police officer at Moga.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surjit Singh, submits that instant petition has rendered infructuous in view of filing of final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. in Court naming Major Singh, Judge Singh and Kulbir Singh. They have also been charge-sheeted under Sections 341, 506, 323, 148, 149 IPC.
