Mz.Rimplejeet Kaur,AAG Punjab assisted by HC Raj Singh Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of regular bail to accused petitionerMonu Masih in case FIR No.121 dated 7.10.2015 under Sections 15/22/61/85 of the NDPS Act, PS Sadar Kotkapura,Distt.Faridakot. As per allegations, during patrol duty, accused petitionerMonu Masih and non-applicant co-accused Satnam Singh @ Nirmal Singh @ Satta riding on a motorcycle were intercepted by a police party. Upon their search, intoxicating tablets, poppy husk powder and intoxicating liquid contained in a Tropicana Slice was recovered from a bag in their possession.

It is contended that petitioner is in custody since 7.10.2015 and challan is yet to be presented.

CRM-M 9466/2016 report has been received according to which seized contrabands are of commercial quantity.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, no case for grant of regular bail is made out.
