RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. read with Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of interim regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.211, dated 29.11.2020, under Sections 363, 366-A, 376 IPC and 6 of POCSO Act, registered at Police Station Jamalpur, Ludhiana, for a period of two months on the ground of ill health of his father. Learned counsel submits that father of the petitioner is 63 years of age and he has some problem in his eye and for the same he wants to get his father checked up.

Heard.

Admittedly the petitioner is facing trial in a heinous offence. As submitted by learned State counsel, out of 13 prosecution witnesses, 5 have already been examined. The petitioner is behind bars since 24.02.2021. Keeping in view the gravity of the offence and the attending circumstances of this case, this Court is of the opinion that petitioner does not deserve the concession of interim regular bail. The same is hereby declined.
