**** ANOOP CHITKARA, J. (Oral) Fearing for life and liberty at the hands of the private respondent no.4, the petitioner, invoking the fundamental right of life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, has come up before this Court seeking protection through the State.
Learned State's counsel, on instructions, submits that they only want the petitioner to participate in the inquiry/investigation. On the contrary, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been unnecessarily called and harassed by the police. He further submits that in case the police wants the petitioner to join investigation, he should not be called for more than three times.
Given above, the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is innocuous. As such, the petitioner shall join inquiry/investigation on 4.7.2022 at 11 A.M. and after that he can be called for inquiry/investigation again for 2 or 3 times and not beyond that. However, in case the Investigating Officer wants the petitioner to join further investigation, he shall do so only after written approval from the ASHWANI KUMAR 2022.06.29 14:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
