(THROUGH VIDEO CONFERENCING) **** JASJIT SINGH BEDI , J.(ORAL ) The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide adequate security in and around the premises of Gurudwara Akal Darbar, Village Sadarwala, Tehsil Zira, District Ferozepur and protect the life and liberty of the petitioner Nos.2 and 3 and sewadars at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 10. 2.

An adjournment has been sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

The learned counsel for the State, on the other hand, while referring to the status report by way of an affidavit dated 23.07.2025, contends that there is a dispute between the petitioners and the private respondents regarding the affairs of the Gurudwara, and civil proceedings KUSUM 2026.02.20 19:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC Chandigarh

CRWP-4513-2025 -2are already pending. An FIR also stands registered. However, with a view to provide protection to the premises, the PCR/SHO concerned are patrolling regularly outside the said Gurudwara. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
