This petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned orders dated 29.06.2006 (Annexure P1) and 10.10.2007 (Annexure P2).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of para 10 of the affidavit dated 22.05.2023 filed by Nirmaljit Singh Randhawa, IFS, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Admn.), Punjab, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.
