Dated Police Station Sections 14.04.2021 State Special Operation Cell, 21(C), 25, 29, 61 & Fazilka, District Fazilka 85 of NDPS Act 1.
Seeking initiation of inquiry on the representation for illegal detention, torture and using third degree methods, the petitioner has come up before this Court despite of interim bail granted by this Court in the above mentioned FIR. 2.
In compliance to the order dated 20.01.2022 passed in CRM-M-26512-2021, report by way of affidavit of B.Chandra Sekhar, IPS, Director, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh has been filed by the State. Vide which, it has been mentioned that the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Litigation, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh, examined the matter and submitted his report dated 16.03.2022. A perusal of this report reveals that the allegations against the petitioners were without mentioning details of the said report. Suffice it to say that the petitioner has made out a case for bail.

Given above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition as the same has become infructuous.

Petition is disposed of as having become infructuous. Liberty is reserved for the petitioner to seek other remedies in accordance with law including to approach the Human Rights Commission.
