By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions regarding investigation in FIR No. 115 dated 01.12.2022 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC at P.S. Sadar Pathankot, District Pathankot. 2.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G. Punjab on instructions from ASI Surender Singh, P.S. Sadar Pathakot, Pathankot submits that investigation in the aforementioned FIR is likely to conclude within a period of four weeks and final report shall be submitted within four weeks thereafter before the Illaqa Magistrate. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to official respondents to submit a final report pertaining to the aforementioned FIR before the Illaqa Magistrate within a period of 8 weeks from today.
