Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the learned Ist Appellate Court to decide the Criminal Appeal No. CRA814-2018 of 03.011.2018 in a time bound manner as the petitioner is a senior citizen.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at present the petitioner is 72 years of age; that the complaint preferred by the petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act was allowed vide judgment dated 10.10.2018; that the private respondents preferred an appeal against the said conviction order and the same is pending since 03.11.2018.

A report dated 04.08.2023 has been received from learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana and the same is taken on record. 4.

As per said report, case pending before learned Ist Appellate Court is fixed for 30.08.2023 for arguments. 5.

Since the case bearing CRA No. 814-2018 of 03.11.2018 pending before learned Ist Appellate Court has now been listed for arguments for 30.08.2023, no further orders are called for in the case, as prayed for.
