(Oral) By this petition, the petitioner seeks the concession of 'regular bail' under the provisions of Section 439 of the Cr.P.C., upon FIR no.231, dated 13.9.2020, having been registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur, alleging therein the commission of an offence punishable under the provisions of Section 420 of the IPC.

The affidavit filed by the DSP, Sub Division Tanda, District Hoshiarpur, dated 9.8.2021, is ordered to be taken on record. As per the said affidavit, during the course of investigation, the complainant provided the investigating officer with audio and video clips of conversations between him and the petitioner, with the petitioner alleged to have admitted to having received large sum of money from the complainant on the promise of providing his children employment in the Departments of PRAVEEN KUMAR 2021.11.10 11:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
