Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the letter dated 26.02.2010, whereby the claim of the petitioner for fixation of pay at the rate of Rs.15500/- per month w.e.f. 01.01.1996 was rejected. 2.

Learned State counsel refers to para 3 of the preliminary submissions of the counter affidavit dated 20.01.2011 filed by Director of Agriculture, Punjab, wherein it has been stated that it was pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in CWP-457-1995, which was disposed of on 29.09.2006, filed by the petitioner and other Additional Directors of Agriculture that his pay was refixed and revised at the rate of Rs.15100/- w.e.f. 01.01.1996, Annexure R-5, to which though replication was filed, however no justification offered therein for placement in the scale as claimed.
