Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.157 dated 03.08.2018 under Sections 3/8, 13(1)(3) of the Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Act and Section 11 of the Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, registered at Police Station Bahin, District Palwal. Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. From the record, I find that interim bail was granted to the petitioner in this case and he was directed to join investigation on VINEET GULATI 2018.12.21 14:26 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRM No.M-51883 of 2018 -229.11.2018 but he did not join the investigation. Then on 17.12.2018, the petitioner was again directed to join investigation on 19.12.2018 at 10.00 a.m. Today, it was informed that the petitioner has not joined the investigation.
Keeping in view the above fact that petitioner is not complying with the directions of this Court to join investigation, no ground is made out for grant of benefit of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
