The case is taken up through video conferencing on account of COVID 2019.

Present petition has been filed under Section 438 CR.P.C seeking anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.175 dated 13.07.2019 registered under Sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and Sections 353/186 IPC and Sections 25/27 of the Indian Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Moti Nagar, District Ludhiana, Punjab. Vide order dated 28.08.2020, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Kuldeep Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation. In view of the above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 28.08.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute.
