Prayer in the instant petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.), is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioner in order to let her earn her livelihood in the area and also for further direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner without any complaint, by raiding her house and in case of any enquiry required from her side, prior notice under Section 160 Cr.P.C. be issued to her.

Notice of motion in this case was issued on 26.11.2018 by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. Thereafter, on different dates, replies were filed on behalf of respondent State, wherein it was mentioned that the petitioner was involved in two criminal cases and was deliberately evading arrest. CRM-M-51909-2018 was apprised by the learned State Counsel that as per information from AG Office, the petitioner had expired on 15.04.2021. The relevant document regarding it has also been placed on record.

In view of the aforesaid, since the petitioner has expired, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and is accordingly disposed of as such.
