For an alleged recovery of 15 grams of Heroine, being a non-commercial quantity,the petitioner was granted bail by the learned trial court. For the solitary non-appearance of petitioner on 16.2.2016, due to wrong noting of the date, the bail bonds have been cancelled and NBWs issued.

CRM-M 9701/2016 petitioner, on surrendering before the trial court within 10 days, was directed to be released on interim bail.

At the time of hearing,learned counsel submits that pursuant to the said order petitioner has surrendered before the trial court on 31.3.2016 and was released on interim bail. The said factual position is not disputed by the learned State counsel.

In view of the above, interim bail granted by the trial court pursuant to the order dated 21.3.2016 passed by this court, is made absolute.
