This is a petition seeking cancellation of bail granted to the petitioner by this court vide order dated May 19, 2015 on he ground that prosecutrix was being threatened by the accused. On the last date of hearing, this court deems it fit to seek assistance of Ms. Rajni Gupta, Addl. A.G. Punjab. Today she, on instructions from ASI Dinesh Kumar, who is present in court, submits that prosecutrix has already deposed before the trial court. Her crossexamination was also completed on 21.03.2016. In view of statement made by learned State counsel, no ground for cancellation of bail survives. Petition is hereby dismissed.
