(Oral) Pursuant to order dated 25.5.2023, the learned State counsel has sought necessary instructions and has filed reply by way of affidavit of Shri Surinder Pal, PPS, ACP, Licensing, Ludhiana, which is taken on record. As per the said reply, the case of petitioner has been considered and a decision has been taken that once the petitioner disposes of his .12 bore double barrel gun, he shall be permitted to get the change effected in his arms license as has been prayed for.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the reply filed by the State, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. In view of the aforesaid submission, the instant petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn.
