       This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of sole arbitrator in terms of clause 33 of the agreement dated 24.09.2015 entered into between the parties.

In view of the previous order dated 23.09.2022 passed by this Court, necessary declaration as required under Section 12 of the Act was called from Justice Ajai Lamba, former Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court and the same has been received and placed before this Court. For the reasons mentioned in the application including the consent of the parties, Justice Ajai Lamba, former Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court is appointed as Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the parties. All the issues including the issue of deposit of security etc. before invoking the arbitration clause may be raised before the Arbitrator as conceded and agreed to by the parties.

Application stands disposed of.
