This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., filed by the petitioner, for seeking permission to go abroad. He stood acquitted in a criminal case but the State has filed an appeal against him which is pending adjudication.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioner to travel abroad subject, however, to his furnishing surety/security bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sangrur.
