This petition has been filed for quashing of complaint bearing No.COMA/69/2014 dated 10.05.2014 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (Annexure P1) as well as summoning order dated 15.05.2014 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kurukshetra (Annexure P3).

The matter was amicably resolved between the parties before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court. This Court on 04.08.2017 passed the following order:- "It is submitted that the parties have amicably resolved the entire dispute between themselves before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 26.05.2017. Settlement/ Omkar Singh 2017.09.25 11:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-595 of 2017 [2] agreement dated 26.05.2017 is attached with the file of this case. In terms of the said settlement, a total amount of `5,00,000/- has been brought by the petitioner in Court today in the form of one FDR of `4,00,000/- in favour of the minor son and a demand draft dated 25.07.2017 for a sum of `1,00,000/- in favour of the respondent. The respondent - Smt. Anshu Kundu, duly identified by her counsel, is present in Court.

The said FDR as well as the demand draft have been handed over to Smt. Anshu Kundu. Photocopy of the same are taken on record subject to just exceptions. Smt. Anshu Kundu states that she undertakes to withdraw all the complaints and proceedings initiated by her as mentioned in para 7 of settlement dated 26.05.2017. She further submits that she no longer has any grudge or claims against the petitioners. She has received the abovesaid amount as full and final settlement of all her claims - past, present and future, qua the petitioners.

On request of learned counsel for the parties, adjourned to 19.09.2017."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the complaint in question has been withdrawn by the complainant/respondent on 05.08.2017 in terms of the compromise. Disposed of accordingly.
