(ORAL) Prayer in the petition is to grant regular bail in FIR No.149, dated 07.09.2018, registered under Sections 307, 341, 506, 188, 336, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga.

Learned counsel for the State of Punjab, on instructions from HC Gurdeep Singh, has informed the court that challan has been presented, charges have been framed and the complainant and the doctor have already been examined. He has further submitted that there are total 16 witnesses. Without commenting on the merits of the case and keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is in custody for more than six months and the trial of the case is likely to take a long time, the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail subject to furnishing of adequate surety to the satisfaction of the trial Court at Moga.
