(Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the Memorandum of Charges dated 07.10.2019 (Annexure P-1), issued by Respondent No. 3, vide which petitioner has been alleged to be guilty for causing financial loss of Rs.9,57,31,207/- on account of standard weight shortage by giving less gain for the amount deducted by Food Corporation of India. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondent No.4, who has been appointed as Enquiry Officer vide Order dated 09.07.2020, not to proceed with the enquiry proceedings against the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the impugned charge-sheet has been withdrawn by the Department, therefore, he wishes to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
