(ORAL) The present petition is filed for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioners at the hands of private respondent Nos.4 to 7. It is contended that the petitioners have got married out of their own free will but against the wishes of the private respondents and accordingly, feel threatened at their hands.

Issue notice of motion.

Mr.Hittan Nehra, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. Mr.Karan Deep Sidhu, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.4 to 7 and states that mother of petitioner No.1 wants to meet her.

However, the request in the present petition is for security.
