The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 16.03.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-6378-2025, whereby respondent was directed to decide the representation of the petitioner.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravneet S. Joshi, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that in compliance of order dated 16.03.2026 passed by this Court in CRM-M-6378-2025, a speaking order dated 20.04.2026 has been passed by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Firozepur. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order in Court. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.
