The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.50 dated 26.2.2020 at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur under Sections 379, 457, 380, 427 and 201 of Indian Penal Code.

The FIR was lodged at the instance Sumer Garg, President (Pardhan), Shree neel Kantheswar Ram Mandir (Regd.), Sitasar Sunam, District Sangrur. It is alleged that on 25.2.2020 at about 7:00 AM some unidentified person had entered into the premises of temple and had stolen a silver statute (Murti) of MOHAN SINGH 2021.01.19 17:48 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-25129-2020 (O&M) Shesh Nag, which weighed about 750 grams and that the said incident was also recorded in the CCTV cameras installed in the temple. 3.

Learned State counsel, upon instruction from ASI Sham Singh, has informed that pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court on 31.8.2020 the petitioner has since joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation.

In view of the aforestated position, the present petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 31.8.2020 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
