**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner who was discharging the duties on the post of Driver can be accommodated so as to continue on the said post as the posts of Driver are still vacant with the department and the petitioner intends to approach the respondents by way of filing a representation so as to adjust him on the post of Driver and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents-State submits that in case, the petitioner files any such representation with the authority concerned, the same will be considered and an appropriate speaking order will be passed by the authority concerned within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

Learned counsel for the respondents further submits that in case, the claim of the petitioner is found feasible to be accepted, an appropriate order will be passed and in case the same is not found feasible to be accepted, detailed reasons for rejecting the claim of the petitioner will be RIYA 2024.05.07 11:16 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to file a fresh representation with respondent No. 1 as stated herein before. 5.
