Petitioner - Rohit Kumar, aged 35 years, has filed the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., inter alia, seeking a direction to the official respondents to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No.142, dated 14.07.2021, under Sections 306 and 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar (Annexure P-2), by constituting a Special Investigating Team (SIT). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by way of the present petition, the petitioner is praying for constitution of an SIT, so that the case may be taken to its logical conclusion. 3.

On the other hand, learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, informs that after conducting thorough investigation, the Investigating Agency has already prepared a cancellation report dated 10.05.2025, which is under process to be submitted before the concerned Court.

In view thereof, let the cancellation report, if prepared by the Investigating Agency, be submitted before the concerned Court within a period of two weeks from today, and upon such submission, learned Court below shall take a final decision thereon within the next two months. 5.

In light of the aforesaid directions, the present petition stands disposed of.

However, it shall remain open to the petitioner to address his grievances before the concerned Court, in the eventuality of filing of the cancellation report, in accordance with law.
