RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner-Ranjit Singh, in a case arising out of FIR No. 0337 dated 16.08.2018, registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1985 at Police Station Salem Tabri, District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana. According to the prosecution, 500 grams of heroin, was recovered from the conscious possession of petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that FSL report has not yet been received. Therefore, it cannot be said at this stage that alleged recovery was a narcotic substance. In view of above, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petitioner-Ranjit Singh, is granted interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and two sureties of ` 2.00 lakh, RISHU KATARIA 2018.12.04 14:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
